We're pleased to announce the arrival of Billy Bogus aka Brunito at Nang for his first release with the label.
As the founding father of the benchmark label for experimental Italian nu-Disco, PIZZICO RECORDS, Brunito has been the driving force behind the alternative disco club scene for many years, spanning cities and labels with his unique sound.
'Terror Island,' a nostalgic slo-mo disco house classic has been circulating the crates of those in the know ever since the remix by Enzo Ponzio hit the shelves as part of Bearfunk's Hibernation Vol. 1 comp last year.
The original is a raw italo affair, rich with moody synth licks and samples harking back to the urban dystopia of Sci-fi cinema's golden era. This is followed by the Mushroom Project Mix that brings a hyped groove to the table with an injection of funk; Perfect for the dancefloor arsenal. For good measure and to keep things definitive, we've included the revered Enzo Ponzio mix too. If you missed this on the aforementioned Bearfunk comp, now's your chance. It's pure class.
