Next we head off to Argentina for a most glorious slice of tear-jerking synth pop by Nuuro (aka Alejandro Ghersi).
If it's euphoric chord changes, big synthesizer pads and soaring vocals that float your boat then this is one for you. Alejandros vocoded vocal makes Cher's Believe sound like walk in the park. However 'Avila' is special because it manages to both totally embrace electronics and a robot-worker-like-synthesis but on a listening level, sound humanly forlorn yet uplifting.
On the remix duty Nang favourite, UK based Lusty Zanzibar takes on a dual role. Hitting the dancefloor buttons with his Abaco version and the downtempo bleepy Deckchair version. The EP also features the driving, LCD-Soundsystem-esqe "After A Night Out". A fine lesson in how sometimes that keeping it simple can have maximum effect.
Written and Produced by Alejandro Ghersi.
