After a string of solo releases on United Recordings and some cracking remixes for Nang and other labels, the brilliant production team Situation join us to release a rendition of Kevin Saunderson's 90's classic 'Good Life,' with a brace of remixes from Mr Mulatto and Venice Beach.
The Original is a bumpy, soulful edit of the classic track, with bold synth chords that have just the right amount of bite and grit to them. It's a rich arrangement that does nothing but justice to the dancefloor staple. Situation showing us just how well they can control the vibe.
The Mr. Mulatto mix is stripped down and as sharp as a pair of fine tailored lapels. The vibe of the original is all present, amidst some clever synth work and beat programming that keeps the balance between old and new just right.
Venice Beach deliver a bubbly, super-edited version that keeps pace high and the colours neon-retro. The two Frenchmen are known for their dancefloor revelry and don't disappoint with this Re-Rub.
