"Get To Know Me"

Fresh from their "Beach Disco 6" mix compilation on Nang in July next up on Nang we are pleased to be released the highlight of the mix CD, the ever-so-groovy "Get To Know Me".
"Get To Know Me" is a tight, vocal, disco-groover. It features Andre Espeut on vocals who does a fine job with a slinky, soulful vocal. The EP opens up with remix from Crazy P based "Hot Toddy". He adds Chic style bass guitar and a jangling funk guitar to proceedings which motors the funk a long a startling pace.
The DT mix detours the track into a sleeze funk synth Bywater. Its low-slung, groovy and drips with cool. The Bitter Suite remixes strips things back to 4/4 floor groove mixing in jazzy Rhodes and big round bass line.
Mr Mulatto also goes for the floor with his peak time club house work out. Its all about swinging synth bass groove, darting vocals and pure 2am Ibiza drum groove.
The original mix shows us the evolution of the track, big drums and grooves, jazzy guitar and sweeping synth strings.
Things round off with a Hot Toddy instrumental dub and the single edit.
